Zoe Holl 2002-2014
Itís been 12 years since Zoe joined our family. She kept Karyn company when she was on bed rest, welcomed the boys home from the hospital, went on countless runs and walks, learned to spit out the chunks in chunky peanut butter (they might be pills!), staked out new digs when we moved and helped the family feel safe when Jim was out of town.
We were very sad this morning to learn that her rapid decline this week is the result of multiple organ failure rather than a curable illness. It was hard on everyone, but we decided to euthanize her rather than subject her to invasive treatment.
Zoe will be missed, but we hope you will join us in celebrating the many happy memories she leaves us with.
